The best advice is DON'T...

( I realize that this is NOT what you want to hear - but keep reading)

Though there is no age issue here, there IS a ';Conflict of Interest'; here!

He can (and WILL) get fired if he pursues this - just in the same way that you aren't allowed to date your BOSS in an office setting.

The reason for this is simple - sleeping with them (or whatever) to get a better grade (or a promotion) is an ABUSE of their power. This is NOT something that is up for debate - it is applicable (and made BLATANTLY clear during the hiring process) EVERYWHERE.

But if you really MUST pursue this - at least wait until you have graduated (or at least completed your course(s)). If you're no longer a student, then treat it the same as you would with ANY guy you want to make a move on ;);)I have a crush on my teacher! tell him that you like him but also explain how the situation is complicated. then let him take you on his teachers desk (Y)
Same thing happened to me. Let it go! It won't work!

You contact your insurance company %26amp; explain everything.

Then get an attorney %26amp; go after 'em allCar accident: lawyers and cops pls gimme advice, on dec 16 afternoon i was driving my car and weather was not ?
In California police officers will not write a police report unless someone is injured. If you call them they will just tell you to exchange insurance information.

File the claim with your insurance company and let them take care of everything. That is what you pay them for. I hope you had insurance.
It is a Common situation many people have met, calm down, and check the resource i found pretty useful http://www.AutoInsuranceFree.info/free-auto-insurance.htm.
you are screwed because of the lazy cop. I was hit and practically had to fight with the cop to get him to make a report in pennsylvania. The cop was like bitchin' '; Great this was only going to be only one page but now it's going to be a 3 to 5 page report. It's not going to be ready for three days! '; to top it off I had to fight with his insurance because the guy never called it in and they could not get ahold of him to verify the accident. thank god I was able to go to the police station and get that report.
I am neither a police officer not an attorney. You report the claim to your insurance company. You do not need a police report to file a claim. It sounds as if you were rearended. If you have Collision Coverage, your insurance company will pay you and subrogate against the at fault carrier. Let the other party's insurance company know there is no police report.

NJ is a No-Fault state which means you probably have Personal Injury Protection coverage. This covers covers you for medical expenses and a percentage of lost wages. The coverage is available regardless of fault. Let your adjuster know that you have sought medical attention. They will create a file for you.

You may be entitled to monetary compensation beyond your medical expenses. However, it depends on your policy selection.

In New Jersey there are different types of automobile insurance policies. One option is called the Limitation on Lawsuit Threshold option.

If you selected this coverage, you need to prove your injury is permanent. Sounds like you may have a soft tissue injury. These kinds of injuries are usually not permanent.
Insurance companies cannot place fault with you if the police did not write a report. Under normal circumstances, if the vehicles don't need to be towed or no ambulance is necessary, they have the option whether to write a report. If the other carrier is adamant about the report let them know they can approach the police department and find out why a report wasn't written. They're dragging their heels, that's all.

Sounds to me that this is a low impact hit and you may have some soft tissue injury but that's about it. It's not life threatening. Retaining an attorney isn't going to change that. Attorney's should be sought for life altering injuries as in scarring, loss of limb or life.

Good afternoon guys.....I could do with some sound advice.....?

I have always wanted a dobermann ever since I was a kid. Now that my faithful alsation is getting on a bit I am in the market for getting a puppy. The thing is,I have two young children. I have read many articles, most of which seem to contradict each other. So wot I'm asking is this.... with the right upbringing are dobermanns okay to have with children or not. I'd love to hear from anyone who has both and their views. Many many thanksxxxxxxx mooxxx

PS my children are 6 and 8 and have spent their whole lives living with the alsatin so are used to big dogs and are very good with animals.....Good afternoon guys.....I could do with some sound advice.....?
yes they should be ok with him a long as you train the dog wellGood afternoon guys.....I could do with some sound advice.....?
Dobies are great with children when properly trained and socialized. My dobie diva loves kids. A suggestion would be to get a female, the puppy would play with your kids but as she got older she would view them more as her own pups and be gentle and protective of them. As long as your kids understand how to treat a dog it will be a great match. I got my dobie used to some of the things kids do by pulling on her ears, poking her, pulling her nubbie tail, petting/patting her hard on the head(I don't know why but a lot of kids seem to think this is how to pet dogs). I started doing this as soon as she got used to my home and me, that way she'd be okay no matter what kids would do to her.

Anyway, dobies can be wonderful family dogs, they do require a lot of attention, and always want to be near someone. Simply make sure they know who is the pack leader and they know they are the lowest on the totem pole, below your kids and thing will go great. Females are more stubborn than males and may challenge your leadership, and definately your kids. Just make sure when training your dog you have your kids participating as well, so your pup knows to follow their commands as well as yours. If you stick to this you should have a wonderful dog and a great fiend for the lifetime of the pooch.
If you want the simple answer...

    YES! Get the Doberman.

I had 2 dobermans (1 from outstanding bloodlines and 1 from an abusive home) and 5 year old son. I think the dogs thought my son was their personal child to protect.

They would all play like 3 puppies together.

NO ONE ever got close to my son with out meeting up with 2 huge heads full of sharp teeth in warning whether they were friends of the family or not unless the dogs got the word from me that it was OK for this day.

Just make sure you train the dog well and you will have a faithful loving family member.
My first dog was a female dobe and she was the absolute BEST we lived and traveled together for 14 years. She was so smart and i was so young(15)when i bought her.I thought all dobes were this way until my next one. He had issues from the start(poor breeding)american style(money and fads of the time)he put me in the hospital twice(broke one hand and mangled the other)just one bad apple......Have had many others that were great but all of them were German bred(like my first girl) and i enjoyed and had great success with.Don't let this one story distress you DO YOUR RESEARCH FIND A GOOD BREEDER AND TRAINER AND ENJOY THE DOG OF YOUR CHOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GOOD LUCK And by the way i now have and breed (GERMAN)GERMAN SHERHERDS got to love the temperment and desire to please
dobermann's are great dogs, its best to buy from a reputable breeder and meet the sire and dam (parents) of the puppy your looking at so you can see their temperament. don't buy the meek quiet little pup who sits in the corner but also don't buy the boisterous over the top pup either. Best in the litter are the ones in the middle.. happy friendly pups. As long as you make sure the dog knows its place it will be great with your children. Don't let the dog sleep on beds or the lounge and tell the children not to be on the floor with the dog only because the dog then thinks the child is on his/her levil and may challenge your child for supremacy. Obedience training is great too %26amp; can help the children learn how to control the dog also. Dobermann's have been given a bit of a bad name because of how they have been portrayed in movies etc. They really are wonderful dogs.
I think it would be OK - as long as ou let the dog know who the boss is from the beginning!
Again with consistent positive training, no hitting , no aggressiveness but firmness a doberman is a very intelligent dog. My Aunt had two with two boys and had no problems although I would get a standard rough collie everyday over a dobe for children. There is no dog alive that loves kids more and protects them more. They were bred for it and they were taught to think for their selves in any given situation. They sleep at each ones bedside making the rounds all night , not to show preference. They are incredible with young kids. Dobes on the other hand are a more aggressive personality. You have to get the right one and know your stuff on training, sometimes a chance not worth taking at this age group,(children) but what do I know..
A well trained Doberman can be a great family member.

Make sure you get one from a reputable breeder, who will support your puppy for his entire life, and begin obedience training from day one. Remember, obedience training (any kind of training) is an on going process and must be done regularly for the life of the dog.
I grew up on a farm and we had 3 dobermans and a Samoyed. Two of the dobermans were very placid and gentle with my brother and I. The third, Kemo, was a very good, loving dog.

However, one day my brother, as kids do, was playing a bit rough with him and Kemo attacked my brother. There was no permanent damage done, mainly because my dad pried Kemo's jaws open. I think if my dad hadn't intervened Kemo would have killed my brother.

So, my advice.....wait until your kids are in their teens before getting a doberman. They are VERY good dogs, but kids do some stupid things sometimes and you don't want to take the chance!!
Any dog is fine with kids as long as the dog is trained well and the kids treat it with respect. A dobermann is a loyal breed of dog and will take good care of the family and house. Personally I think it is a great choice!
Any breed can bite. It doesn't matter the size. It's all how you raise and train your puppy. Obedience classes are always a good idea. As long as you children are dog savy they should be fine, they grew up with a large breed dog. My kids grew up with Rottis and we never had any problems.
Yes our Doberman adored our children if she thought she hurt the children by standing on their feet she immediately cuddled them she so loving. She died 7 years ago and we still cry when we talk about her. The kennel club will advise you of a reputable breeder

    Good Luck
Yes, dobermans are fine around children. The only reason alot of people won't have a dobe around children is they are afraid smaller children will get knocked down.

With your children being a bit bigger and them being around larger dogs all their lives, a dobe would be a great family addition.

Besides, the kids are old enough to assist in the training now also.

We have 4 dobermans, and my 3 yr old grandson loves on 3 of them. The 4th is a little high strung, would never intentionally hurt my grandson, but he would probably knock him down.

If you decide to get a doberman....thoroughly research the breeder!!!!
Hi, I have had four dobeys in my life, the latest Bella is so soft and affectionate towards my nephew 1yr old and niece 3yr old. they love her to bits and she simply adores the affection back. She would die for those two and she is the most wonderfully affectionate dog you could wish for. My previous doby, Mitz, was the same, when we couldnt find my son Mark we looked all over and found him curled up within Mitz's legs fast asleep and she just looked the proudest dog on earth. Go for it you will not be disappointed. ceeya!!!!
I don't own a dobe, but I can still answer your question... Any dog that is properly socialized from a puppy and grows up with children will likely be fine with them. It's what they will grow to know.

The one thing I would suggest is that you be sure to seek out a reputable and ethical breeder to buy your puppy from. A good breeder will breed for good temperment and you will be assured to have a puppy that began socializing when still with the litter. You will pay a little more for a puppy this way, but knowing that they will have proper health clearances and that temperment was seriously considered in the breeding process is well worht it!

Another great idea is to get your new puppy into some classes and have your children be there to help and participate! We saw many young children in our Puppy Kindergarten classes and they learned so much right along with their puppy. Great experience for both of them!

    Good Luck!
We don't own a doberman, BUT, my brother does. He got him as a pup in order to protect their property in Honduras. From when he got him, he has worked hard with obedience training and socializing him with other people, children and animals. We have 6 children, ages 8 months to 14years old. His dobie has been extremely well behaved with our children even after not seeing them over the course of 6 months. He is also a wonderful guard dog and a loving faithful companion. I would definitely find a reputable breeder, read lots on their care and training and take your timemaking this decision, but that should be done with any dog...All the best!
I always heard that the reason some Dobies are bad with kids is that they're too inbred so we got a Dobie cross (half Collie, of all things!) and he was FABULOUS with kids.

Although we named him Rambo, there wasn't an aggressive bone in his body and he even let our other dogs boss him around. Yet he protected the yard and barked his head off if anybody came close.

Im meeting up with a girl tomorrow afternoon and i need advice?

Basically im meeting up with a girl this weekend and im pretty nervous , we met because we both used to self harm and have known each other for literally years , im pretty worried about my appearance among other things , i do consider myself to be pretty chubby , ive never really had any real issues with women in general because im generally a nice guy.

Shes always said i dont care what you look like i dont care about your appearance , its you in general. :S I mean i took that on board but its still bothering , i want to know how i can really impress her.

Im 20 shes 21.Im meeting up with a girl tomorrow afternoon and i need advice?
my best advice is be yourself, be genuine. people will accept your faults. most girls i get to know tend to like me, even though i am awkward and can be perceived as a jackass at times. don't pretend to be someone you're not.Im meeting up with a girl tomorrow afternoon and i need advice?
Take condoms. If she use to be self abusive she most likely has low self esteem and is most likely easy. Go for it!

I get 4 teeth extracted Friday Afternoon...Teeth extraction advice? The process..I'm on edge!!?

First off...RELAX...the more worked up and tense you are, the less the effect the novacaine is going to have.

But really...here's how it's going to go:

    - the dentist puts the novacaine in your gums. this hurts a little because of the pressure of the liquid in your gums

    - about 15-30 minutes later they're gonna test the numbness of the area, once that's ready, they'll start pulling...

    - it's gonna feel wierd, you feel an intense amount of pressure, but it doesn't really hurt too badI get 4 teeth extracted Friday Afternoon...Teeth extraction advice? The process..I'm on edge!!?
Ask them to put you to sleep.I get 4 teeth extracted Friday Afternoon...Teeth extraction advice? The process..I'm on edge!!?
My daughter had all four of her impacted and had them out a week ago. They now usually put you completely under, you won't feel anything during the actual procedure. However you won't be able to drive, so you'll need someone to bring you there and back home. Once you get home, make certain you STAY in bed for the first 24 hours. My daughter passed out twice and had a drop in bp after she first came home....she was given a lot of liquids, I made whipped potatos and served them at room temp, they can't be hot or you'll swell more. It also keeps the nausea under control. Jello felt good on her gums. She enjoyed the ravioli and really anything soft. Soft scrambled eggs in the am....You HAVE to take food with your meds or your stomach will be in bad shape......If you can have some family help you'll do much better...I wish you much luck and quick healing......no drinking from a straw, keep your tongue away from the incisions....
well its not really as bad as it sounds. but ya it sucks. what i do is take about 800mg of ibpro. like an hr before u go. helps take the edge off and some pain
oh man..when i did that i was swollen for weeks...and it got infected twice. Be REALLY careful when eating and if you are swollen be careful not to make any sudden movements or lift anything heavy...just take it easy and keep the areas CLEAN..i know it seems like the pain will never go away but there is an end to your misery...be patient, you'll be fine

oh yeah...ur gonna feel A LOT OF PRESSURE...not pain, just pressure...its not a very comfortable feeling but ust hang in there...it's over before you expec it to be

    I have a afternoon wedding i have 2 go 2 and i need advice?

Its a wedding for my mom's friend's daughter and its in the afternoon to evening. Its casual and in our town hall.

I was going to wear a really pretty purple shirt (kinda fancy)and dark jeans and i have coat that is called a Portrait-Collar Coat and some super cute black high heel shoes.

and my question is is that too much black for a wedding??I have a afternoon wedding i have 2 go 2 and i need advice?
No I don't think that it is too black, but make sure you keep your jacket open so the purple is peeking out. Add some purple accesories too - a bag, headband/hairclip, and belt maybe? And are you absolutely sure that it is jeans casual. Make sure it is before. I have a afternoon wedding i have 2 go 2 and i need advice?
Yeah it is. I would wear the top and the shoes and forget the jeans.

Is this question serious. Weddings are among the dressiest affairs most people ever attend. It would take a lot more than a shirt and jeans to be too much for a wedding.
Personally, even if its a casusal wedding, you shouldnt wear jeans...If your coat is black, then maybe it is a bit too much black for the wedding..If u accessorize with purple maybe that would be better?♥
It's a cute outfit, and not too much black, but jeans are one big NO NO at a wedding. Try some dark slacks (charcoal grey, black, etc) to replace the jeans.
Jeans at a Wedding? That's really casual. Try some back or gray dress pants or even a sundress with a cardigan. But I don't think jeans are appropriate.
I would say for an afternoon wedding yes, do you perhaps have a pair of cream or beige slacks that would look good with the shirt and boots?

as long as there's no white you're ok. However, I'd say a dark purple dress would be better, the jeans might be a bit too casual.
no should be fine. However, be sure it's jeans casual. Most weddings aren't.
No, not at all. You do have purple on.
No its not to much black i think ur going to look really pretty
i would check on the jeans. .. who wants denim at their wedding??

Help need advice on what I should wear on my interview this afternoon!!!?

Im a 16 %26amp; I am having my first job interview at Sears. Do you think it is ok for me to wear a white linen shirt %26amp; paints. Also do you think me wearing white dress shoes with a little orange in them will be okay?Help need advice on what I should wear on my interview this afternoon!!!?
    Try this:

http://www.videojug.com/interview/interv鈥?/a>Help need advice on what I should wear on my interview this afternoon!!!?
I'd go with a button-down shirt and dress pants. NOT JEANS. And definitely black shoes if you have them. A tie wouldn't hurt either.

Interviews are all about getting a step up on others applying for the same job. Dressing well is just one way to do that. (You'd be surprised how many people dress inappropriately for interviews.)
Do you have dark shoes? The rest of the outfit sounds good. Make sure your face is shaved neatly. You can always make extra money online at home. I found this great website. It is legit and profitable. I have made $9,100 in only 7 months in my spare time . No fees or investment http://creativeandpositive.blogspot.com/

  • Morning / good afternoon every one , Just looking for a wee bit of advice regarding leaflets and posters , ive?

just started working for myself and I am unsure aboutlegislationn surrounding putting up leaflets and posters . can any one help please also how do you send a reply once someone has answerd you on this site ???? have a good day xxxxMorning / good afternoon every one , Just looking for a wee bit of advice regarding leaflets and posters , ive?
Valerie, it is going to depend on where you are, there are restrictions on posting on certain property with penelties fro infringement so check out your local byelaws. Leaflet drops are more relaxed especially as they are for your business, watch out for private houses displaying a 'no free papers' , 'no circulars' notice as they also tend to me they don't want you leaflet either.Morning / good afternoon every one , Just looking for a wee bit of advice regarding leaflets and posters , ive?
Hi. In UK fly posting - that is sticking posters on other peoples property without their permission is illegal.

Shops and other people will often put up a poster for you if you ask.

Re leaflets - no restrictions - just drop them through letterboxes - perfectly legal. Look out for notices saying no circulars which some people put on their door or gate.

To talk to someone on here click on their name/avatar - that will take you to their profile - there you will see if they allow email, IM etc.
Ask shops to put your posters / leaflets in their windows. Look around where you live for notice boards where you can put a leaflet. Consider putting a poster / leaflet up in the front window of your own home or even on a pole on your front lawn.

You will need to target your audience so if for instance you were selling car parts you could flyer a car park with a leaflet under every wiper or If it's children's clothes try the Mums outside your local school.

Try to link up with complimentary businesses so if say you're doing something connected with weddings you would get the local photographer to have a poster.

As for adding to your question. I don't know for definite but when I post an answer I get the option to edit it after I've posted so I assume there will be an edit button on the bottom of your question as well.

    Overley Dramatic afternoon!!!!! Any advice?

    Ok so heres what happened:

So on the bus this girl, we'll call her ';Becky';, was all mad because this kid, we will call ';Ray';, had the window down and it was raining really hard!!! Every body on the back of the bus was screaming to roll the window up. So Ray put the window up only half way. Then Becky started yelling, and when I say yelling I mean yelling, at Ray to ';roll the F*****g window up.'; Then Ray just ignore her. Then the bus driver pulls over, and forgets to put the bus into park, and we start rolling off the road. Were yelling, ';Put the bus into park!!'; So she did, then she started yelling at Becky. The Becky started yelling at the bus driver. So the bus driver decides to DRIVE BACK TO THE SCHOOL!!!! We were all so MAD!! Then Becky i on the phone with her mom, and she yells out loud, ';WE HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE SCHOOL BECAUSE THE BUS DRIVER IS AN F*****G B***H!!'; So the my friend, we'll call her ';Ashley'; starts crying because her mom gets mad at her whenever stuff like this happens and she gets in SO much trouble. Also she was crying because Becky was her BFF and when she would have to tell her mom what happened, then her mom wouldn't even let her say the name Becky ever again! Then my other friend, we'll call, ';Amber'; says something to Ray, which I didn't hear, the Ray starts cussing her out! Then SHE starts crying because she thinks she is going to get in trouble. The my brother, ';Chris'; We'll call him, starts sticking up for Ray and starts yelling at the girls. Now all the girls hate him. The Ray started cussing at Becky, the Becky and Ray start pushing each other. Then the bus driver got REAL MAD! Once we get to school, the security gaurd came on the bus and talked to us about bus saftey, The the DEAN came on the bus. She is really nice though. She made Becky get off of the bus, and she said, since we were all eye-witnesses, we had to write a statement telling what had happened on the bus. Then, rumors started around the bus, as we were leaving, that the bus driver was racist, because Ray was black, and so was the bus driver, and Ray didn't get in trouble for anything!!! Then Chris started yelling at the girls again! The one of the girls was yelling at him. Now I feel sorry for him because he was crying. Then, finally, my big brother, ';Don'; picked me and my brothers up. Then he told us he was smoking! I literally started bawling! He said it didn't matter. Even though we told him he could get cancer and all of that stuff, he said its not that hard to stop, and we weren't changing anything!

Any advice for me or to tell my friends??

    Overley Dramatic afternoon!!!!! Any advice?
All of this is now in the past. If you keep talking about or doing things about it you will drag the upsets into the future. That is why countries fight wars for decades and centuries. Because they cannot forgive and forget. We keep talking about water which has run under the bridge, and our future becomes an instant replay of the past.

You see, Ray, didn't roll down the window because something Becky did reminded him of what someone else did in the past which he didn't like so he ignored her, just like he ignored whoever in the past was upsetting him.

Becky, got angry because Ray, ignoring her reminded her of someone else in the past who ignored her, which angered her again.

This is how you get old, benOverley Dramatic afternoon!!!!! Any advice?
Well, just write the paper and turn it in. It will blow over quicker than you think. And the part about literally bawling because your brother smokes - that is just pure drama queen stuff. People smoke - get over it. It isn't going to kill him any time in the next several decades. It is not like he joined the military or something.

I'm planning to drive from Hamburg on Wednesday afternoon to meet the night ferry at the Hook. Any advice?

The distance between Hamburg Center and Hoek van Holland amounts to 327 miles of which 314 are on motorways. At an average speed of 65 mph on motorways you should reach your destination in about 5 hours without traffic jams. Taking under consideration that you need to depart Hamburg at rush-hour time I would suggest to leave at latest 3:30pm since the motorway A1 between Hamburg, Bremen and Lotte/Osnabr眉ck will be crowded during that time. Once being on motorway A30 and after the rush-hour is gone you should not expect any problems in general and should have plenty of time to reach your ferry at 10:00pm.

    Thanks G!

Been and back! Only problem we had was between Hamburg and Bremen, the A1 is all single lane due to roadworks which people tell me won't finsh within the next few years. The best suggestion there would be to use the A7 and come across near Bremen. It might be longer but you'll save time

I'm heading to work. What advice would you like to leave for me when I return home later this afternoon?

Bonus Question: Do you think of the library as a spiritual place? I just remembered that our library is having a huuuuge book sale today, so I'll probably be heading there right after work... got to hide all the good books until ';dollar a bag day'; Monday...I'm heading to work. What advice would you like to leave for me when I return home later this afternoon?
shame on you, working on the sabbath!

bonus: a library book sale, or a really good used book store, is like crack cocaine to me! enjoy the addiction!I'm heading to work. What advice would you like to leave for me when I return home later this afternoon?
the road to happyness aint much of a road, more like a, tube filled with grape juice filled with happy jelly fish, drifting through the tube, not a care in the world, unless they are found by the jelly fish hunters, than the hunters chase the jellyfish into their cave of infanant wonders and the hunters steel their jukebox and sell it on ebay. jellyfish hunters usualy have realy good status on ebay, so the stuff they loot sells pretty fast, and the jelly fish never have time to get it back. then they're all lonely, cuz jellyfish love music, but only country, they hate hip hop cuz it makes their tentacles twitch, witch is actually pretty uncomfertable, so they listen to other stuff. jellyfish like loud music, especially when they want to dance. then they invite all their jellyfish friends and throw a part and start dancing, but then their parents come home and they all get busted, and they...
Not a huge fan of books, so never really liked the library. I only go there when I need a place to work on something, so I don't see it in the best light.

After work you should smoke a joint, then listen to techno while eating a burrito with nachos on the side.
    are you on drugs? lol

I do not think of the library as a spiritual place. its a place to learn and relax.

I think when you get home, you should take a nap and lay off the drugs friend lol
Yes. Please remember to feed the dog before you leave. If you don't he will eat the couch.

Ooooh, you said for when you return. Sorry.

BQ: Well ';biblioteca'; means library and it is very close to ';bible'; so yes, it is a spiritual place.

    ((((Turtle))))
library a spiritual place?? wel if u read spiritual buks, then it is. go 2 a calm place, like a park or near a pond or river or sth. %26amp; listen 2 calm soothin music..
eary to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise

and yes i think anywhere can be a 'spiritual' place, as long as your spirit feels comfortable there
    My advice is ';Don't cross the streams!';

Yeah i the library is rather spiritual, especially the one i go to ( Customs house library in Sydney) As its built like some futuristic jedi temple.
Don't be late or your dinners going in the dog bowl..Lol

I think the library is the closest thing to heaven I will ever find on this little planet. It's peaceful, interesting, and I love the smell!.
Just make sure you turn off the coffee maker. Coffee that's 8 hours old really sucks. Don't forget to check your Email when you get home Fireball just might take you up on your offer someday.

BQ- Sure, learning can be enlightening.
don't forget to pick up the dry cleaning...

BQ: yeah, i can see a library being a spiritual place.
You better strike while the iron is still hot. It's not too late with your beauty Briley. Hint write her a poem!

    (((Turtle)))
Make sure there is some beer waiting for you when you get home
Don't forget to take your shell with you.

Is it the quiet of a mausoleum

Romantic afternoon with the girlfriend, advice?

it will be at a river, on a sand bar with a little fire. It is supposed to be cold that night so we will have to have some 'alone' time in the back of my jeep. Sitting there, what are the best things to do in a backseat? As in sexual. She wants to give me a bj, and we'll make out, if i finger her, how? and what position?

I was asked this by one of my friends today, so don't think i'm a perv who asks this stuff, I'm asking for him.Romantic afternoon with the girlfriend, advice?
hmm idk i think fingering might be kinda hard and uncomfortable at least for her but tell ure friend that he could start with making out with her and then get her legs wrapped around her and like unbutton and unzip her jeans and then yeahh.

but i really dont know how shed b able to give him a bj now thats a real challenge.

    haha good luck with that!

  • Somewhat graphic: I was bitten by a dog this afternoon; advice on the appearance of the wound is appreciated.

    GROSS FOLLOWS:

It's been a while since I've been around dogs, but I've never had one so viciously bite me. The owner (my new neighbor) seemed EXTREMELY remorsful and apologetic; I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt.

At any rate, I have what seems like a puncture wound on my lower arm (near the wrist) from one of the dog's canine teeth. I'm going to my doctor on Monday for a checkup and tetnus shot, and in the meantime I've washed and bandaged the wound. It is a bit sore, and bruised around the opening. The odd thing is that there is some kind of oozing from the bite. It looks like a mushroom, and I can't tell if it's fat squishing out or white blood cells trying to prevent infection. I pushed on it a bit with a clean q-tip, and it felt numb, so I think it's ';attached,'; so to speak.

Has anyone else experienced this from a puncture wound, and do I need to see a doctor right away, or may I use the ';wait and see'; approach until Monday when I see my usual physician?Somewhat graphic: I was bitten by a dog this afternoon; advice on the appearance of the wound is appreciated.
Ouch! Your very kind I can tell. I have no real advice except this...Once I was outside when my neighbors dog bit a kid and the neighbor at fault apologized perfusly AND paid all of the medical bills ...the neighbor who was biten did not press any charges so if I were you I would let the neighbor know that maybe they should be sportin the medical bills and you should consider going to the er...If the dogs teeth touched the bone it could infect the bone...do not be so casual about this that you wind up really sick. And stay away from that dog! Chances are this is not the first time it has biten or the last!Somewhat graphic: I was bitten by a dog this afternoon; advice on the appearance of the wound is appreciated.
Its probably just pus or something like that

its natural when a wound is healing

if its infected it will turn green
It could very well be pus (which in actuality is just dead white blood cells, which could indicate infection). It's hard to say what to do without seeing the wound myself! I would suggest going to the emergency room to get it debrided and properly cared for. If you decide to wait til Monday keep a close eye for signs of infection: warm to touch/swollen, reddened, pussing, or fever. Keep the wound clean and covered from sources of infection until your doctor takes a look. Hope all goes well!

(Ps: I stepped on something sharp in the ocean once and I noticed white coming out of my wound as well and I believe there were nerves exposed. It's hard for me to say that's what's going on with you without looking at it myself! Sorry for the vague answer!)
with any kind of animal bite it is advisable to see a dr asap. i would head to the emergency dept and have it checked now. you'll also need the dogs records. make sure he's up to date on his shots. don't do the wait and see. if anything is going on in there they need to see it now. good luck.
I'm not one that goes to the doctor for just anything, especially the emergency room, but from what you described I would go ahead and get it checked out now. The soreness and bruising are to be expected, but the white oozing stuff that's still attached just DOESN'T sound normal.

If you do decide to wait until Monday, at least keep antibiotic ointment on it and keep it bandaged. And stop poking it with q-tips lol. Oh, and if I were you, I would ask to see proof that the dog has had it's shots, just to be safe.

I'm wondering if they have it inside a fence usually? If not I would be really concerned. If it gets a hold of a small child they might not be so lucky.

Good luck, and I hope it's not too bad.
Honey, I'd go to a doctor. I looked up one site, and it said this

In some cases, a bite wound requires a physician鈥檚 attention. Victims of animal or human bites should call their physician immediately if:

The bite is on the hand, foot or head.

The bite is deep or gaping.

Bleeding continues after applying 15 minutes of firm and continuous pressure.

There are signs of infection (e.g., redness, swelling, warmth, increased pain or tenderness, oozing of pus, fever).

My mother got bit by my friends dog, and that dog meant to hurt her because of how much pressure he used. In my family we tend to be ';if blood not gushing or no bone is pertruding your fine.'; She didn't go because it stopped bleeding, but if it would of pussed I think she would have broken down. Bite the bullet and go, that is not a good sign. Hope you feel better, and being a dog owner that is the one thing we all dread. Least she apologized, I've seen people who could careless.
Keep in mind that puncture wounds can be dangerous, because the top can seal over, leaving the infection inside. Wounds heal best when they heal from the inside out, so definately keep an eye on that. But supposedly dogs have cleaner mouth than humans, if that helps at all. I guess th moral to that statement is that it's better to get bitten by your neighbor's dog, than get bitten by your neighbor....HA.
If this just happened today it's to soon for anything like puss to be oozing out. It takes time for infections to develop and start oozing. Go to an urgent care center or emergency room. Something that belongs inside your arm is finding it's way outside through the wound. hat is never a good thing. Also contact your neighbor, demand proof of a current rabies vaccine for the dog, and insist they pay your medical bills. You may also want to contact a lawyer.
I hope you are on the way to the ER. Puncture wounds are more dangerous than cuts and scapes because they don't bleed freely to get out the germs.

I would go now and make sure the neighbor getsd the bill.
The absolute most important thing is the dog current on rabies shots ????????????? You must find out. If no one knows, you will have to go thru a treatment that is dangerous and painful, at least it used to be.
i would say go to a doctor immediately. The bite might be deeper than you think and could use some medical attention asap.

    Bleeding this afternoon, advice please?

I was out this afternoon and when i went to the bathroom I noticed when I wiped there was a spot of blood. I was just wondering if this is the begining of something or if it's normal. I've been really worried about it. I am 6, almost 7 weeks pregnant, but don't have my first appointment until the 19th of this month, ultrasound not until the 13th. It was just a spot but I want to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong.Bleeding this afternoon, advice please?

I want to spend a romantic afternoon with my ex, advice?

So my ex and I have not had a day alone for a really long time, and I mean long. she wants to spend a romantic day together preferably at her house and I'm fine with that. I want to make her feel great as she has been having lots of trouble as of late with her job and more. I need some advice on what I can do to make her feel special and loved, and maybe even some sexy ideas to break the ice if you know what i mean! thank you again ;)I want to spend a romantic afternoon with my ex, advice?
dont have sex its not Christian like! in the Bible God says that our body is a living sacrifice! God is watching us 24/7 and He loves us very much!I want to spend a romantic afternoon with my ex, advice?
Most women (I know I do) just love massages as alot of us carry around alot of stress as we always have too many things to do. You could give her a great shoulder %26amp; neck massage. I hear that some gals enjoy their feet massaged, too. Put some music on that is only instrumental but is very soothing %26amp; relaxing then give her a nice massage. She will probably love it! Good Luck!
Sexy time with your ex? Nice arrangement, I think you can take it from here.
    make some lunch

I have a Philosophy exam on Monday afternoon: do you have any advice?

Although I know most of my stuff, I am still a little nervous. My teacher said I will have a LOT of writing to do and I am hoping I can think clearly on the spot. Do you have any words of wisdom to calm me down?I have a Philosophy exam on Monday afternoon: do you have any advice?
Read through all of the questions before you start writing. Think for a minute or two about them before you start writing. Don't answer them in order -- start with the one that you are most confident about.

What will happen is that though you are concentrating on the one that you know -- the other problems are stuck in your head %26amp; answers to them will start to form subconciously. By the time you get to them, a partial answer will be formed %26amp; you will be able to jump into that one.

You know most of your stuff -- so don't worry.

And don't forget to breathe.I have a Philosophy exam on Monday afternoon: do you have any advice?
Take deep slow breaths, and then again breathe out slowly, close your eyes so as not to be disturbed. Imagine watching the air go down your wind pipe to your stomach and watch it in your mind's eye coming out again slowly through your nose a s you breathe out. Do this for five minutes and you will be fine. All the best.
    Sunshine says, ';Study,you silwy rabbitt,study.';
exams are nothing to be nervous about. you are gonna get alot more exams in your life
Practice. Put yourself into a very quiet room with only a piece of paper and a pencil %26amp; see what you can write down.

The other thing to do is get a list of words together that will help spur memories of bigger concepts - that way, when you start, jot the list on the side of the paper %26amp; if your mind does shut down, look at the list.

    Good luck!
You are already prepared. There is really nothing to be nervous about.
Practice writing what you know (like an essay)or think may be asked, ie topics he covered extensively. After writing go back to your notes and see if you missed any important points or topics. See if you can get you thoughts out clearly and orderly.
When you study, choose the topic area and just start talking out loud about the topic. Since speaking about something is usually easier than writing about it, practice your responses verbally. Plus you will figure out quickly if you know the topic sufficiently or not because if you can't talk about it for 1-2 minutes, you don't have enough knowledge or the ability to apply it. BTW, good luck!
    depends on the questoin

Babe, You can easily survive if you were to bring me along with you :)

*muahAny advice on how a Manc can survive a trip to Anfield this afternoon?
Feel free to make a pit-stop in Yorkshire beforehand. I have a purple shellsuit, with a green go faster stripe down the side, in pristine condition which you are free to borrow - it may help a little with the transition into foreign climes.
    Wear a gorilla suit, a Pool scarf and Chelsea woolly hat - and ask those around you - ';Are Arsenal in the red or the blue?';

That ought to ensure you're left in peace.

    (Don't forget the bananas.)
Well Audi seems to have that covered...but try, try very hard not to get carried away and smile, snigger, ROFL, and hope for the best :o..lol
