Bleeding this afternoon, advice please?

I was out this afternoon and when i went to the bathroom I noticed when I wiped there was a spot of blood. I was just wondering if this is the begining of something or if it's normal. I've been really worried about it. I am 6, almost 7 weeks pregnant, but don't have my first appointment until the 19th of this month, ultrasound not until the 13th. It was just a spot but I want to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong.Bleeding this afternoon, advice please?
i was actually the same amount of weeks you are and in the same situation as you and odly enough my 1st apt wasn't till the 19th also..anyways i got freaked out and ran to the e.r they did a ultrasound and everything was ok the nurse said sometimes that just happens early in pregnancy they dont know why...but maybe you would like to get it checked out? and see your baby for the first time
